SteMo

The SteMo combines splitter, merger and multiplier in one. The main motivation for this module was to connect an MPC Live II to a Eurorack without an adapter. The 4 stereo jack sockets split the signals into 2 x 4 mono jack sockets, on which 4 dedicated gates and 4 CVs from the MPC can be used. The stereo sockets are wired and normalized to the next stereo input. This allows a stereo signal to be split between 4 gates and CVs.

All stereo ins are switched, i.e. each stereo in receives the signal from the previous socket. This connection is opened as soon as a jack plug is inserted.

SteMo functions

Splitter

Audio signals are split into left and right. CV signals such as the stereo outs from the MPC are split into gate and CV. Stereo sockets are normalized to the channel above when the socket is not in use.

Merger

Two mono signals are combined in one stereo socket

Multi

Since all stereo jacks are normalized together when jack sockets 2-4 are not used, 2 x 4 Multi is automatically available

All functions can be used in mixed mode. The possible connection options are printed on the front panel.
